How do you capture missing someone you have never met?
This was the question I decided to answer for my senior thesis at parsons. in an attempt to uncover who my late maternal grandmother was, I found myself wishing I could talk to her. One thing she used to do, to raise her ten children, was make hundreds of “love letters,” or egg rolls, to sell to people around Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia.
I decided to turn these love letters into real ones, embossing paper with notes from my family members, dedicated to her.
